Our northern day trip was guided by Mr. Huang. He was easy to spot from the very beginning at the meeting point and helped us confirm that other registered members could choose seats closer to each other. Although it rained on the day of the meeting, it stopped raining as we approached the attractions, which was very lucky. His introductions to the attractions were incredibly detailed, covering everything from individual sites to the overall characteristics of Okinawa. Later, he kept recommending delicious food, which made our mouths water. We couldn't help but ask him which restaurants were the best, haha. If you're not in a rush, American Village is a great place for photos; I recommend stopping there to take some pictures. You can get off at American Village and take bus number 20 back around 8:30 PM. I suggest arriving early to wait for the bus. You pick up a ticket on board and pay with coins at the correct number when you get off. In conclusion, I found the day trip itinerary to be very convenient for a first-time visitor to Okinawa.
The tour group was very experienced and quickly located the whales, allowing for close-up views of them spouting water and diving. The boat handling was also very stable, and the staff provided clear explanations and cautioned passengers along the way, especially regarding children running around. It was a wonderful whale watching experience.
On our second day in Okinawa, our family of four rented a small car for less than NT$1,000. The car was in good condition and quite new, but the interior space was huge. The rental process took less than 15 minutes. On the return trip, because it was a holiday, there was a lot of traffic, and we were slightly late for the return. We left a message with the company through the KKDay platform, and there was no dissatisfaction at all when returning the car. It took less than 2 minutes to return the car, which was really convenient.
Easy to set up, stable network, and you won't miss any important messages! The price is also very affordable 👍
