We had a wonderful day in Kyoto and Nara. It was a very productive, convenient, and efficient trip. Highly recommended for all travelers. Our guide, Ellan, made the trip even more enjoyable. She shared many historical tidbits and efficiently planned the entire itinerary. She also recommended places to wear kimonos and eat. All of this was fantastic and made our trip perfect.

Includes Randen 1-day pass, 2-hour bicycle rental, and vouchers for 3 dessert shops. The bicycle rental is a great option; it allows you to explore every nook and cranny of Arashiyama that you wouldn't have been able to visit on foot. If you don't plan on riding the Randen much and are only visiting Arashiyama, you probably don't need to buy the pass. Renting a bicycle separately is also not expensive at 300 yen.
