There are two snorkels and one dive for only six hundred dollars, which I personally think is a great deal, and all the staff on board took good care of us!
Seeing it raining all morning made me quite anxious, worried the trip might be canceled or the sea conditions might be bad… But we set off with anticipation to the shuttle bus meeting point. After boarding the boat at the port, we set off immediately. On board, they explained the precautions for large groups and distributed wetsuits, goggles, and snorkels. 🤿 Upon arrival at the designated point, we were naturally divided into groups of about five. After getting into the water, we started snorkeling and taking photos! As soon as my head hit the water, my friend and I saw a sea snake swim past us. We didn't even have time to take a picture before it moved away – so lucky! 🥰 I think we don't see them often! They distributed bread to attract fish. The fish here are quite unafraid of people, which is very interesting. We watched them eat the breadcrumbs up close and interacted with them! After circling the area, the first stage of the trip ended! My package only included snorkeling; others took a small boat to a turtle-watching area, and another group went on a banana boat and jet ski trip! I initially thought our trip was too short (about 30 minutes)! After confirming with an employee, we were told we could still go snorkeling, but the weather was a bit cold and they wanted us to go back to the boat to rest earlier to prevent us from getting too cold in the water. Of course, we went back in the water, and the instructor kept an eye on us the whole time. It was just the two of us snorkeling freely and comfortably 🤿! We even forgot about the bad weather and felt it was totally worth the ticket price 😁 We didn't end our trip on the boat until the turtle snorkeling group returned!
The day before the tour, they called to confirm and explained the precautions and asked if I had any questions. It was my first time snorkeling, but thanks to the cheerful and friendly staff, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The sea around Kerama is truly beautiful, and I was constantly amazed by the coral reefs, tropical fish, and napping sea turtles that I saw with my own eyes for the first time. There were other solo travelers besides me, and many participants were from overseas, but everyone was friendly, and the excitement rose in the presence of the beautiful sea, which gradually created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience!
