Online booking includes a personal pick-up and drop-off service after landing, and assistance with exchanging ferry tickets. The service is quite dirty.
I'd wanted to participate in this event for a long time but hadn't been able to until this year. Inside the factory, the staff enthusiastically introduced the nail clippers I was interested in, and even recommended the rocket launcher-shaped nail clippers that needed to be pre-ordered. After listening to the forging process, I went up to the second floor to actually hammer my own keychain. The process was very relaxing, and I was very satisfied with the experience and my creation.
The stories within a 500-meter radius of Koh Samet Old Street are so numerous that you could listen for two hours and still not finish. They sound interesting now, but back then they were matters of life and death. You must take this guided tour if you have the chance.
The teacher's explanations were very detailed. Anyone can do a cursory tour, but to truly experience the charm of Kinmen, a place rich in culture and history, having a local guide supplement your knowledge is essential.
We met a top-notch guide whose explanations were lively and engaging. We learned a lot about Kinmen's artifacts while chatting and laughing. I highly recommend this free guided tour to anyone who hasn't been here before. My suggestion is that it be scheduled during the daytime; it starts at 7:30 PM and doesn't end until around 10 PM, as everyone gets very tired.
