A fantastic day trip experience! Very convenient for those without a car; the bus was punctual and comfortable. The Churaumi Aquarium allowed ample time for a thorough visit. The scenery of Cape Manzamo and Kouri Island was stunning. The tour guide communicated fluently in Mandarin and was very attentive throughout the trip. Although it was a business trip with a side trip, it was a very relaxing day and excellent value for money!

The main advantage is convenient transportation, no need to drive, and a shorter itinerary that allows for a more in-depth experience. The only drawback is that parking at the Churaumi Aquarium is quite far; it takes about 20 minutes just to get into the aquarium.

The itinerary went very smoothly, allowing us to visit many tourist attractions within our limited transportation and time constraints. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great that day, and with limited time, we didn't have much time to actually visit everything, which left us feeling a little unsatisfied.

If you're looking for a handsome, funny, and charismatic Mandarin-speaking tour guide who can make the whole bus laugh, then Xiao Guo is the one for you! 😂 He's also great at scheduling breaks, which is a huge plus! I had a really good impression of our tour guide this time. At each attraction, he clearly explained the meeting time and pick-up point, and always reminded us of the bus number, ensuring everyone was back on time (and he even gave us a thoughtful 5-minute buffer time ❤️, which was totally acceptable to me). Here are my personal reflections after visiting each attraction: 🪨 Manzamo: The area isn't very large; 30 minutes is more than enough for me to walk around and take photos. If there are a lot of people taking photos, I suggest not waiting in line at the same spot. Try taking photos from different angles and use the time to visit the restrooms or shops; it's more efficient. 🌊 Kouri Island I only spent 25 minutes at this stop, yet I managed to take all the ocean views and browse the local specialties three times! 🤣 Maybe it's because I didn't buy any shrimp rice. This stop is allotted 50 minutes. If you're traveling with elderly people or slower travelers, you might need to manage your time better. If you plan to buy souvenirs or eat shrimp rice, it's recommended to plan ahead to avoid running out of time when you arrive. 🐋 Churaumi Aquarium This stop is truly huge and spectacular! The whale sharks are definitely worth seeing! Three hours sounds like a long time, but it actually flies by. I suggest planning your itinerary beforehand, deciding what you want to see, buy, and eat. Otherwise, when you need to get back to the meeting point, there's a considerable distance from inside the aquarium to the parking lot (about 10 minutes? Maybe my legs are short 😂), and you might end up rushing, breathless and sweating profusely by the time you get on the bus. Especially if you're traveling with elders or children, I highly recommend planning ahead, otherwise you might feel rushed at the end. 🏠 American Village This stop only has 1 hour, which I think is suitable for a quick stroll, shopping, and buying some snacks. If you really enjoy American Village and want to explore at a leisurely pace, 1 hour might not be enough. I personally arranged to get off at this stop for a "work exchange," allowing me to explore at my own pace without constantly checking the time, which better suited my travel rhythm. Overall, what I found most enjoyable about this trip was that the tour guide clearly explained the meeting information and maintained a good pace. Also, Xiao Guo was great at creating a lively atmosphere, ensuring there were never any dull moments on the bus, adding a lot of laughter to the entire journey. These are my reflections after completing this solo trip, offered as a reference for those planning a day trip to northern Okinawa.

The overall itinerary was comprehensive, and although the tour guide was Chinese, there was absolutely no political bias, and the explanations were very detailed and thorough. There was also ample rest time on the bus. 👍 The only downside was that there were many stops, but the time spent at each stop was quite short, giving it a somewhat rushed feel and preventing a truly relaxing experience. Overall, I would still recommend this tour to those without a car and visiting Okinawa for the first time.

This time, I went to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and saved time buying tickets on-site. I saw the whale shark and dolphin show, which was super satisfying.
