This tour included visits to places that are difficult to reach on a typical independent trip, so I highly recommend this day tour. A driver safely guided us, and a guide provided commentary. Although we couldn't get close to the crater due to an accident and could only view the volcano from the visitor center (?), our guide, Mr. Wang, still pointed out some nice sights along the way (like the pudding-shaped volcano). My favorite parts of the tour were the Kamishimi Kumanozha Shrine and Kusasenri. Kamishimi Kumanozha Shrine is highly recommended; although you have to climb 280 steps, the trees and stone lanterns on both sides are absolutely stunning. Kusasenri was also a place I wish I could have stayed longer – it was truly beautiful. (BTW, lunch is less important than spending more time taking photos in Kusasenri.) Kurokawa Onsen is also a great place; I'd like to stay overnight if I have the chance. The foot bath is very relaxing, and I highly recommend trying the cream puffs.
Installation was easy and reception was mostly fine, except for a slightly weaker signal in remote mountainous areas, but I was very satisfied with the price.
The driver can adjust the itinerary and departure time as needed, the car seats are very comfortable, and the fare is really not cheap, but it's very suitable for trips with both elderly and young children.
The customized itinerary was very convenient, and they also provided timely suggestions, helping to guide visitors to attractions and calling ahead to inquire about restaurant availability. Thank you, Ms. Liu, for your care over the past four days! And thank you to Mr. Shen for taking me to the airport on the last day.
