- Sapa Town to Hoang Lien Cable Car Station: Take Muong Hoa monorail (departs from Sapa Station) or take a taxi

- Hoang Lien Station to Fansipan Station: Take the cable car (the only option)

- Fansipan Station to Fansipan Peak: Take the monorail (buy a ticket at the onsite vendor) or climb about 700 steps for 10–15 minutes to Fansipan Peak)
