  • Visa validity period: varies depending on the specific program/project.
  • Duration of stay: The consecutive stay during each visit shall not exceed 180 days.
  • However, if you intend to stay for more than 180 days, you should register with the relevant FRRO/FRO within two weeks of arriving in India 180 days after your arrival. This is also required if your total stay exceeds 180 days.
  • Visa applications can only be processed within four months of the departure date.
