The Japanese Seafood & Sea Urchin Summer Carnival

As summer approaches, The Café at Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers presents a “Japanese Seafood & Sea Urchin Summer Carnival” buffet exclusively from April 1 to August 31, 2026.

Inspired by the lively atmosphere of traditional Japanese summer festivals, complete with fireworks, food stalls, and seasonal delights, Executive Chef Paolo Federici and his team showcase in-season Japanese sea urchin and other seasonal produce to curate more than 30 classic yatai-style dishes, sashimi, chilled seafood selections around the globe, and over 70 international hot and cold specialties in the buffet. 

On every Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, guests can enjoy the captivating Live 15-Kilogram Tuna-cutting Performance during dinner buffet for an immersive, multi-sensory dining experience reminiscent of a Japanese fish market. Nevertheless,

Executive Pastry Chef Sam Chan and his bakery team further enhance the celebration with sakura motifs and other Japanese-inspired desserts, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the colors and flavors of a summer matsuri.

During the Easter Holidays, from April 3 to 7, the dessert station will be transformed into a whimsical chocolate art paradise. Guests can look forward to playful huge chocolate bunny sculptures and adorable mini-Easter egg desserts. The seasonal savory highlights will include Braised Beef Cheek with Chocolate Sauce, a festive twist on classic comfort food.
