Sterling silver is known for its lustrous shine, hypoallergenic properties, and malleability, making it popular for fine jewelry. Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, offers a warm, golden hue and is often more affordable and durable. Both metals allow for various techniques like cutting and polishing, but sterling silver typically offers a more luxurious feel, while brass provides a distinct vintage aesthetic.
The DIY metalworking experience covers a range of hands-on techniques. Participants will learn to cut, file, polish, and shape their chosen metal.
