During my five-day trip to Da Nang, the coolest time was at Ba Na Hills 🤣. We took the cable car to various attractions and even saw a unique dance performance 😍. The toboggan run (?) is also an optional extra. The Golden Bridge is a must-see, but I recommend going in the afternoon. For lunch, I went to the Four Seasons Buffet Restaurant; the food was quite unique and included international cuisine (like pasta and Korean stir-fried rice cakes), but it was incredibly crowded 😅. Also, the driver was very skilled – commendable!
During my stay in Da Nang, I wanted to go to Ba Na Hills early in the morning and then leave around 3:00 PM to go sightseeing in Hoi An, so I booked separate transfers for each leg of the journey. Ba Na Hills is very large, and there was a long line for the cable car, so I was late for my pickup time. The driver used a translation app to communicate with me. He sent me a picture of his car, but I couldn't find it, so I sent him a picture of where I was, and he found it. In the end, I was 20 minutes late for the pickup time, but he didn't show any displeasure and was a very pleasant driver. Thank you very much.
Convenient to buy tickets here as they sometimes offer promo codes or birthday discounts. I’d recommend getting the WOW Silver Pass as it can save a lot of precious time queuing for rides.
As for the buffet lunch, it’s value for money but personally not really worth it — maybe around 3–4/10. The mobile food stalls around the park actually seemed more delicious.
For the cable car ride, it can get pretty hot and stuffy when it rains since there are no fans inside. Depending on which cable car station you return from, the walk back can also be quite long with multiple escalators involved.
