This time I went to Taiwan for a 2-day, 1-night trip. I was able to fully enjoy my 2-day, 1-night trip thanks to this tour. I was able to efficiently visit the places I wanted to see. I had considered taking public transportation, thinking there might be some fun in doing so, but having enough time to stay at tourist spots and walk around, I really appreciated the convenience of being able to sit on the bus. In particular, the bus stop on the way back from Jiufen was extremely crowded, so I was glad I chose the tour. They also recommended some shops and dropped me off at the night market on the way back, and the advantages of being able to see everything in one day, along with the low price, were fantastic. I highly recommend it! There were announcements in Japanese as well. They also spoke in English, which I appreciated.

I used this service on the evening of August 11, 2026. At 6:50 PM, I spotted someone wearing a KKday vest at the arrival point, but there was a huge crowd and it was difficult for them to notice me. However, once they did notice me, I was immediately guided to the vehicle. There were two of us, but there were also three other passengers and two passengers, making a total of eight people including the driver. The vehicle was a wagon type with a 2+3+3 seating arrangement from front to back. We were the last to be guided, so my wife was seated in the second row and I in the passenger seat. The journey to Ximending was quiet, with no one speaking, but something prompted the driver to start a conversation, and from then on, it was just the driver and me talking. After arriving at Ximending, we parted ways immediately. For about 1,500 yen, being able to get to Taipei without having to wait for a bus or get caught in the crowds is definitely worth it.

There were so many people lined up at the entrance, I was really glad we had made a reservation. We were shown to a table on the outdoor terrace, and it was very pleasant with the cool breeze blowing.

Traveling with two children aged five and six was quite rushed. But thank you to our guide, Ms. Wu, for her excellent leadership and explanations of the sights. She was very friendly and made the whole trip very smooth. She even encouraged us to climb a bit higher; Auntie Agan's taro balls were delicious and offered great views.
