I bought the Tohoku JR Pass through KK Day and redeemed it at the JR East Travel Centre at Haneda Airport. This trip covers Tokyo to Sendai, then back to Tokyo, and finally Echigo-Yuzawa. You can even reserve seats online, guaranteeing seats for the whole family. A must-buy pass for any Tohoku trip!
The temperature wasn't too cold and we enjoyed the shaggy snow. We purchased tickets in advance and the process went smoothly. We would definitely use this again.
I visited on my graduation trip! The shuttle bus was really convenient, the ski resort was big, and there were plenty of restaurants, so even people who don't ski at all could enjoy themselves!
From Haneda Airport to the Naeba Prince Hotel, because it was an evening flight, the trip was impromptu, and we couldn't get tickets for the Shinkansen, we found a private car through Kkday. Initially, we thought the price was a bit high, but at that time, it was the only option. Two days before departure, customer service provided relevant information via message. Since it was our first time traveling through Haneda Airport, we thought immigration would take a long time, like at Narita, and specifically reminded the driver not to arrive too early. However, immigration only took about 30 minutes, and Mr. Takahashi was already waiting at the entrance for the three-hour journey. The car was new, and Mr. Takahashi was very kind. When my child needed to use the restroom, we went to a 7-Eleven and bought some things. ❤️ It started snowing half an hour before we arrived at our destination. For this trip, we felt that choosing a private car was the best decision we could have made! 👍 Thank you so much for your service and Mr. Takahashi's service! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's just a short bus ride away! The student package is cheap and close, so I hope they continue this package forever ^_^ It's very empty on weekdays and it's easy to slip ^_^ (Your poor skills are obvious, but even if you fall, it's no trouble lol) It's easy for tourists to participate, so it's very helpful!
No need to rush to catch the bus; the driver will be waiting at the station entrance with a name sign, so there are no communication issues. Choosing between 4 PM and 7 PM is perfect for shooting both daytime and nighttime scenery. Taking a taxi eliminates passenger control issues, and the car stops right at the entrance to the hot spring town, so you don't have to walk any further. You'll have plenty of time to take photos.
Thanks to Ashley, our trilingual guide, for leading us to the legendary Spirited Away scene and even encountering a blizzard, which added a unique touch to Ginzan Onsen. We also appreciate the driver's professionalism in taking us back to Sendai Station on time.
I purchased my advance tickets through Asoview!. The online advance lift tickets for Spring Valley Sendai Izumi Ski Resort were cheaper than usual, and on the day of the event, I could easily get my tickets at the exchange machine without having to wait in line at the counter. This allowed me to use my time efficiently and enter the resort smartly without having to take out my wallet, which was extremely convenient. The price was also great, and I was able to start skiing early in the morning without wasting time, so I would definitely use this service again.
1. I bought a standard ticket, and the space was quite large. 2. The ship's Wi-Fi was fairly smooth; I could even watch Netflix. 3. The ship's interior was quiet.
