Although we only speak Japanese, and Chinese and English, the driver used a tablet translator and thoughtfully reminded us to bring our wallets, passports, etc. When it was too crowded in Shirakawa-go and we couldn't find a place to eat lunch, he even took us to a nearby soba noodle shop so our elderly parents wouldn't have to wait hungry and cold in Takayama Old Town for food. The driving was also very smooth. It was an excellent choice.
You can exchange currency and book your seat directly at the airport counter, which is very convenient. It allows for perfect coordination of transfer times, ensuring you reach your destination in the shortest possible time. Highly recommended.
This time I used this one-way Shinkansen ticket to travel from Kyoto to Kanazawa. At Kyoto Station, you need to find the green vending machine to exchange it for a ticket voucher. Because Kyoto Station is crowded, the queue for exchanging tickets can be long, so allow plenty of time. Also, experienced JR staff at Kyoto Station can assist you, so don't worry if you encounter any problems during the exchange process. 😌
We added each other on Line as soon as we booked, and the response was very prompt. We added the driver on Line the day before the pick-up. The driver arrived at the guesthouse on time and saw the children already waiting downstairs. He was very friendly and even let the children get in the car first to keep them warm, which was great. The ride was very comfortable. Highly recommended!
