The driver arranged for the next two days was a very kind and polite gentleman who patiently accommodated our needs. Although we spoke different languages, he used a translator when needed, bridging the gap between us and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip. The most precious thing about this family trip wasn't just the sights we visited, but the warm and reliable people we met along the way, making us feel at home even in a foreign country. Although the aquarium itself isn't very large, it's perfect for bringing children because, in addition to aquatic animals, there are live owls, piglets, and some aquatic animals that you can touch and interact with. While researching online, I often saw recommendations for large chain rentals. Later, I saw someone recommend Sky Rent a Car, saying their cars were new, so I chose that one because it was only one stop from Miebashi Station where we were staying, plus a short walk. The rental process was also very quick. We handed over our passports, Japanese translations of our driver's licenses, and Taiwanese driver's licenses, and they processed everything quickly. While we were processing the paperwork, staff were already preparing the car for us. The air conditioning was already on, so it was very refreshing to get in! 👍 My husband and I chose a Toyota Yaris, and the space was more than enough for two people. For navigation, we could choose iPhone CarPlay, use Google Maps, or connect to the in-car screen with a charging cable – very convenient! Parking is free at many shopping malls and attractions in Okinawa, which is great for road trips. When returning the car, the staff checked its condition so quickly we were caught off guard! 😂 As for language, basic English was sufficient for communication, so there were no problems. 👍 We also saw an elderly couple using this rental company when we left.
