Our driver, Kudo, was very friendly. He chatted with us along the way, introducing Aomori and asking how our experiences had been over the past few days.
After arriving in Oma, the staff gave us a tour, which made it easy to understand the charms of Oma. The tuna bowl was delicious, and after buying some souvenirs, we enjoyed squid skewers and other treats. It was a very compact but casual ferry trip, and my friend was very happy too.
Although the driver, Mr. Songshan, doesn't speak Chinese very well, he is very friendly and has a good service attitude. He is also familiar with the route and took us to great places for taking photos. I highly recommend this driver.
It was a perfect ferry experience, starting with waiting for the boat. You can take photos and check in at the port. There are restaurants and shopping areas on the first floor of the waiting area, all affordable. Once you get on board, the scenery is stunning: afternoon sunshine, a breeze on the deck, a view of the sea through the window, and a nap in the cabin. Everything is just right.
A good itinerary for solo travel. The driver was very diligent in showing us a few more places to take pictures. He was also very enthusiastic in helping us take pictures. There were two other girls in the same car and we had a great time chatting.
