The meeting point was clearly defined, the driver was friendly and courteous, and his driving skills were steady and comfortable. The group members were kind, the itinerary was well-planned and kept within the allotted time, and we even got to take a cable car to and from the attractions, walk along the stream for half an hour, and visit three more scenic spots. The day trip was rich and fulfilling, and I had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed joining the KKDay day trip; it was even more enriching than planning my own trip, and I didn't have to worry about transportation. Thank you so much!
The originally planned itinerary was expected to be rainy, but after inquiring the day before, we were able to change the date. In the end, we were able to see the beauty of Oirase in good weather, and I am so grateful!
Mr. Motoki, the driver, drove very smoothly. He had a small lantern with his name written on it hanging above the car, making it easily identifiable and easy to find. For lunch, we ate at the stone oven pizza place recommended by Mr. Motoki. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet for an hour, with a wide variety of pizzas, as well as a rich selection of salads, fried foods, baked goods, pasta, etc. It was delicious and highly recommended. My favorite part of the trip was Oirase Creek; the waterfalls and streams were spectacular and beautiful, and the walk wasn't tiring. It was a pity that the Hakkoda Ropeway was closed. We took a boat trip on Lake Towada, but since the boat only had Japanese narration, it was quite boring for those of us who couldn't understand it.
