The rainy season has begun in Tohoku, but I took a sightseeing taxi to Chusonji Temple. It was a weekday and it was drizzling, so there were few tourists and I was able to enjoy a leisurely visit. The signal was poor, so it took some time to show the voucher, but I managed to do so. The driver's explanations were also very thorough.
Our tour leader, Chang, thoughtfully adjusted the itinerary to avoid going to the beach under the scorching sun. We first went to the palm tree swing, which was a bit boring, but a great place for taking photos and relaxing. Next, we went to my favorite spot of the trip: the Sakurai Futamiura Couple Rocks and the white torii gate. It was truly beautiful, and we even caught some Pikmin mushrooms and got some gorgeous postcards! 😍 At noon, we ate ramen at Ichiran no Mori and visited the factory. Later, we went to Shiraito Falls to cool off and enjoy the flowing water, where we also had the chance to try grilled fish and flowing noodles. Finally, we visited Munakata Taisha Shrine and Miyajigoku Shrine, concluding the day's itinerary.
Thank you tour guide Jino ~ Received WhatsApp itinerary information before departure is very reassuring, and help you order forest Cafe drinks in advance, save waiting time! This tour is really great, you can take a day to the famous attractions of Sushi Island✨ The happiest thing is that the tour guide Jino will be very proactive to help the group members take beautiful photos📸 also fast and cool, angle, feel, know what location / how to take the most beautiful, very good👍🏻 Jino also introduced the scenery of autumn and winter, if I come to Fukuoka next autumn, I will definitely sign up for the tour again to see the red leaves of Raiyama Chiruji Temple 🍁🍁 I hope next time I can hit Jino again with the tour! 😆
This trip was fulfilling and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Ms. Sato Yu, was very attentive and helpful, introducing the features and stories of each attraction. She also interacted warmly with everyone on the bus, sharing information about Japanese culture and local events in Sendai and the Tohoku region. My family and I highly recommend this tour next time we travel to Japan.
It is very convenient. You can already draw the place when you change the ticket. And include a Matsushima Fun Day Pass when you buy. The voucher is very cheap, you can exchange fried oysters, you can take a boat, you can exchange grilled fish cakes, and you can get two packs of pancakes. I wanted to eat another oyster and senbei, but the shop is temporarily renovated and can't be opened. If I come again next time, I will buy this one package again.
