Product Info
Opened in 1965, this is one of the most historic ski resorts in Iwate Prefecture. It is said that professional skier Yuichiro Miura inspected the slopes and gave his stamp of approval before the resort opened. Located within Towada-Hachimantai National Park, the slopes feature natural terrain that offers new discoveries the more you ski. The summit is the highest point among all ski resorts in Iwate, where you can even see Aomori fir rime ice. If you ski the Futago Forest Course, you can glide while viewing rime ice on both sides. The middle section has steep slopes nicknamed Dangan and Usadaira no Kabe, which advanced skiers love to conquer. The lower section features gentle slopes that beginners can also enjoy.
