  • For those looking for some private time on the tranquil Sotoura Coast in Shimoda, Izu, this 120-minute kayaking and snorkeling course is limited to one group (up to six people). An instructor will accompany you and provide a lecture and safety guide. Enjoy a relaxing kayaking and snorkeling experience at the beautiful AA-quality Sotoura Coast. An instructor will be provided, so even beginners can relax. You can also choose to tour Kuju Beach (pictured) or snorkel offshore within the time limit. Snorkels are also provided for free. A two-person boat can accommodate one adult and two children (under 12 years old). Please message us when applying. During the swimming season from mid-July to late August, if you are driving, please use the beach parking lot (starting at an additional 1,500 yen). ・By car: 30 minutes from Tsukigase IC on the Izu Jukan Expressway via Numazu IC on the Tomei Expressway Store parking: Free during the trial period 200 parking spaces available in the surrounding area, starting at ¥1,500 per day (July 22nd - August 22nd).
