There was a light drizzle and mist when we arrived, but it didn't detract from the beautiful scenery; it added a unique charm. Both churches are worth visiting, but unfortunately, there was a wedding that day, so we couldn't go inside.

From pre-trip confirmation and itinerary pacing to the overall atmosphere, everything was great. Thanks to Jino for her meticulousness. Although both cars traveled together, she made sure to keep track of everyone's needs and quietly took photos for everyone, always keeping an eye on different groups. She wasn't overly enthusiastic, but you could feel her dedication to making the trip enjoyable. Solo travel is so relaxing; you can just let your mind wander and not talk, it's so comfortable! 😌 The Forest Cafe is beautiful, highly recommended. It would have been even better if we could have stayed longer! The Itoshima gelato was delicious! 😋

I was worried because there was only one other Japanese person on the tour, but the guide kindly explained everything to me in Japanese first, then in Chinese. We all went to the photo spots together, and the guide took photos for both solo travelers and couples, which was a great help for me since I'm terrible at taking selfies. The mountain road to Shiraito Falls was narrow, but I was impressed by how the driver drove safely, yielding to oncoming traffic. We waited about 30 minutes at Ichiran no Mori, but they extended our time and we were even able to buy souvenirs. There are many cafes at Meotoiwa (Married Couple Rocks), but I found a free space where I could rest with a cold daifuku (rice cake) I bought nearby. There are power outlets and shops, so I recommend it. The bus tour took us to many different places, which made it very easy and enjoyable. Thank you to all the staff!

Our tour guide, Ada, was friendly and professional. The bus ride allowed for rest while we visited many attractions, which was great! It was a bit of a shame that the only option in Yanagawa was a boat tour; it would have been even better if we had more time to eat eel rice. When we visited the Ichiran Ramen factory, there was no queue for meals; I wonder if that's always the case.
