This activity is highly recommended. It was raining when we met up, and because there were many groups, our guide, Diffany, was in the rain getting herself into the rain to help everyone. There was even a group of elderly men, aged 80-90, who couldn't find the meeting point. Although the website stated "latecomers will not be waited for," the guide patiently guided them there. Before we got off the bus, she repeatedly reminded everyone of the meeting point and time, worried that some members might disappear. On the bus, the guide explained the origins of each location and highlighted worthwhile places to visit. She even took photos for each group. The overall trip went smoothly. Thanks to the driver for driving safely and avoiding traffic jams, everyone arrived safely on time. For a group tour, it was truly excellent value for money! (If you prefer personalized service, I suggest hiring your own vehicle; you can decide for yourself what kind of scenery you want to enjoy.)
This trip was specifically for the Atami Fireworks Festival. Our tour guide was Tony, from Liaoning. He spoke with little accent, in a soft and gentle voice. He kept the pace of the entire trip quite well. The fireworks were beautiful. I was very tired after a long day, but watching the fireworks was very therapeutic. We got back to Tokyo after 11 p.m., but thankfully we could sleep on the bus!
