Fushimi Ward

From the rainy day we set off to the day when the weather was almost clearing up by the time we arrived at our first destination, it was clear that this trip was destined to be perfect. The day's itinerary only included three locations, and each location had enough time to fully experience. On the bus, our guide, Suke, explained the history of each location, helped with taking photos, and relayed the meeting time and parking location. Suke and the itinerary were fantastic. Highly recommended!

Our first stop was Katsuo-ji Temple. There weren't many people when we arrived, so we had plenty of time to take photos and stamp our postcards. The second stop was Arashiyama. Our guide led us to the entrance to the bamboo grove path, where we strolled around, took pictures, and enjoyed some food. Our third stop was Fushimi Inari Shrine. It was very crowded, and we didn't have enough time to see the whole area, but we did get to see the main attractions! Although it rained all day, the itinerary was very comfortable, and we could rest well on the bus. Our guide, Velben, sent out information about the attractions as we approached each one and thoughtfully reminded everyone to be careful! This itinerary is highly recommended…

Our Kyoto experience with David was awesome. He provided a lot of insightful information in both English & Chinese. Instructions given was cleared especially meeting and pick up points. Every stop was punctual and no delays. The coach that we board was so clean and so comfy. Highly recommend for beginner travelling to Kyoto whereby you can cover more in a day!

Booked a 8.30am slot on a Tuesday and it was very packed when we went in. When we returned our kimonos at 1pm, the store was also very packed. Store space (first floor for outfit selection, second floor for hairstyling and changing) are both not big. Japanese lady who helped me with my kimono in my second floor was very lovely. But the choices of kimono even for the special offer are great. There are even lace designs available to choose from. Hairstyling was also done very nicely and I love it!

We traveled by car from Kyoto, first heading south to Nara and then north back. The scenery in each place was incredibly beautiful, especially during cherry blossom season, when the cherry trees were in full bloom. The tourist attractions were packed with people, and the good weather added many wonderful memories to the trip.

The shop was very crowded during cherry blossom season, and the staff were very patient and helpful even though they hadn't eaten or drunk anything. They spoke Chinese, and the clothing styles were decent; the uniforms were especially nice. The only downside was that the shop was a bit small.

The shop is a bit small, and the staff are too busy and a little impolite. I would recommend it to friends.

The entire trip was well planned. The second stop, the Inari torii gate, was a little shorter due to the schedule of the third stop, the little train. Those who like it might feel a bit unsatisfied. However, it was still manageable because it rained that day. The local guide was very attentive and experienced. He gave you all the necessary reminders and precautions and was trustworthy. I would definitely visit again if I had the chance.
