You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo, including Shibuya Crossing and Yoyogi Park. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji clearly. Going on a weekend morning is generally less crowded than peak times, although it's still quite busy. Professional photographers will take photos for you at the classic viewpoint (photos cost extra), and selfies are limited to one minute. There are many foreigners, and not all of them are polite, so please be mindful. A good day is essential. My itinerary also included a visit to Tokyo Skytree, but although it's tall, it was cloudy that day, and the view wasn't as good as Shibuya Skytree on a sunny day.
On the outbound journey, you can use the QR code to collect your ticket at the airport subway machine. There are staff members available to assist you if you don't know how, but there are quite a few foreign tourists using it, so you might have to wait in line a little. For the return journey, you can take the train from Shinjuku Station. The seat selection machine takes a little searching, but it has a Chinese display and is fairly easy to use.
The experience was great on a weekday. If you haven't been yet, you should check it out. It's not as crowded as when it first opened. Booking through this platform is very smooth; you can choose a time slot and buy tickets. Remember, the entrance is on B1. Navigate to the first floor, which is the exit. You need to cross the zebra crossing and walk back from the building opposite. You can't store your luggage inside the baggage lockers, but there are paid lockers next to the entrance (if you have a lot of shopping items).
