Does the Tokyo Subway Ticket cover JR and the Yamanote Line?
No. JR services, including the Yamanote Line, are not included. Use a separate ticket or an accepted IC card for those journeys.

- Please find the nearest ticket redemption machine (marked with a red circle that says "Pick up your ticket").

- Scan the QR code (please print out your KKday voucher beforehand, or show it on your mobile phone, tablet, or other electronic screen).
- Physical ticket redemption complete! Valid for 24/48/72 hours from the first time you swipe your card to enter the station. The validity period is recorded on the back of the ticket.
- You can also exchange your card with staff at the offices of Tokyo Metro stations (except for stations on the Hibiya Line, Kita-Senju, Naka-Meguro, Nakano, Nishi-Funabashi, Yoyogi-Uehara, Wako City, and the Hanzomon Line and Fukutoshin Line, Shibuya and Meguro stations).
- Please note that tickets cannot be redeemed separately. Even if you purchase multiple tickets at once, only one QR code will be issued. When redeeming tickets at the Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway, you will be able to redeem all valid tickets at once using the QR code.
- If the Tokyo Subway Ticket becomes demagnetized, it may not be usable at automatic ticket gates, etc. Therefore, please do not place it near items with strong magnetic properties (smartphones, electronic devices, magnetic wallets, etc.).
- If you are unable to use the exchanged ticket to pass through the station gates, please consult a station staff member. After confirmation, a new ticket will be issued to you.
- The validity period will be printed on the ticket after the first use through the station gates.
- If you enter the station within the valid time, you can exit the station normally even if you exceed the valid time during your journey.
- If not used within the validity period indicated on the ticket, the ticket will be considered invalid.
- Each adult who has purchased a ticket may bring up to two infants aged 0-5 years for free. For the third or subsequent infants aged 0-5 years, a child ticket must be purchased.
