On this tour, you'll walk through the jungle and beaches at night with a guide, searching for and observing coconut crabs, hermit crabs, beach crabs, and small nocturnal creatures. Searching for signs of life in the darkened forest, or finding crabs and hermit crabs on the beach while listening to the sound of the waves, is a unique night activity only available in Ishigaki Island. This tour is recommended for families with children, couples, friends, nature lovers, and those who want more than just ordinary sightseeing. This tour is an observation tour of coconut crabs. We will not capture, touch, take home, or collect them for food. Coconut crabs are an important natural resource of Ishigaki Island. In order to protect the natural environment, if we find any, we will observe them quietly and take photographs only to the extent that it does not harm the creatures.
