- Arrive at 'RAKURAKU KIMONO' in Kyoto Kawaramachi and present your electronic voucher at the counter to check in. The shop is equipped with a spacious lounge area and free water dispensers, allowing you to relax in a comfortable environment before starting today's experience.
- Before we begin, our friendly staff will explain the day's experience process and important notes in detail, and ask you to assist in confirming and signing the experience guidelines. This is not only to protect your consumer rights but also to ensure that your upcoming Kyoto stroll is worry-free and enjoyable.
- To ensure the safety of your personal belongings and clothes, and to prevent any mix-ups, we provide each guest with an 'exclusive storage bag' (adhering to our one-guest-one-bag policy). You can safely store your personal clothes and large luggage in this bag, allowing you to start your transformation process with peace of mind.
- Choose your favorite from over 1,000 high-quality kimonos. Our professional staff is on-site to provide styling advice, helping you tailor your own unique Japanese look from the kimono and obi belt to the exquisite small accessories.
- After selecting your favorite style, you will proceed to our spacious and private 'gender-separated changing rooms' to get dressed. Unlike typical crowded shared spaces, we provide an environment where you can fully relax, with our professional first-class dressers providing the most authentic and comfortable Japanese dressing service.
- You will be served by an experienced, professional kimono dresser. We provide a private and comfortable dressing space, ensuring every layer is smooth and snug to showcase the most authentic and elegant beauty of the Japanese kimono.
- If you have selected a hairstyling service, a professional stylist will design the perfect Japanese-style hair arrangement to match your kimono, accented with exquisite hair accessories. Finally, choose from our complimentary photo props, such as Japanese paper umbrellas and small handbags, to perfect your overall look.
- After dressing, you are welcome to visit our free 'Tatami Window' photo spot inside the shop. It is weather-proof, making it easy to capture stunning Japanese-style photos! After shooting, you can store your luggage for free and take a light stroll to Kiyomizu-dera or Yasaka Shrine. If you have purchased professional photography, our photographer will guide you to explore hidden gems in Kyoto and capture unforgettable moments.
- 17:00Please return to the shop by 17:00 on the day of your experience to return your kimono and collect your stored luggage and belongings. If you wish to extend your experience, you may check with our staff in advance about the 'after-hours self-return' process.
Purchase Notice
A variety of high-end kimono styles and professional photography services are available on-site. You can upgrade your experience by paying the difference upon arrival to make the experience even more perfect.
Free luggage storage service is available in the store (please keep valuables with you at all times).
Kimono must be returned by 5:00 PM on the same day. If you wish to extend your wearing time, we also offer a "self-service return at night" option. For details, please consult the on-site Chinese-speaking staff on the day of your visit.

- Professional dressing service: We provide you with authentic and comfortable Japanese dressing services by professional instructors with "Level 1 Dressing Instructor" qualifications.
- Hairstyle and Accessories: Includes the hairstyling service corresponding to the package, as well as the accessories and hair ornaments corresponding to each package.
- Thoughtful luggage storage: Free storage service is provided for large luggage and personal clothing.

- Next-day return fee: If you need to extend your experience to the next day, an overtime/cross-day fee will be charged on-site according to the store's rules.
Reminders
Please arrive at the store on time for your appointment. If you are late due to personal reasons, your personalized dressing and styling time may be shortened, and the relevant price difference will not be refunded. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Due to safety considerations and the special nature of kimono attire (which requires a tight sash around the abdomen), pregnant women should not participate in kimono or yukata experiences.
The store offers free storage for large luggage and clothing, but please keep your passport, cash, jewelry, and other valuables with you at all times. The company is not responsible for the safekeeping or compensation of any lost items.
Minor stains that occur while strolling around in a kimono are generally free of charge. However, if the kimono is severely damaged, develops special stains that cannot be cleaned (such as blood, large areas of food grease, etc.), has residual perfume, or is lost hair accessories, a special cleaning fee will be charged on-site or compensation will be required at the original price.
Kimono must be returned by 5:00 PM on the day of your experience. Late returns will incur a fee according to on-site regulations.
If you wish to extend your wearing time, we also offer a "nighttime self-service return" service. Please be sure to confirm the detailed procedures and relevant regulations for self-service return with the on-site staff before you leave on the day you are dressed.
The height and size restrictions listed in the booking information are for reference only; the actual fit will vary depending on individual body type. If the on-site assessment indicates that a specific style is unsuitable due to size incompatibility, other suitable clothing can be flexibly exchanged.
If you wish to upgrade to a more upscale outfit or purchase additional services such as professional photography, exquisite makeup and hair styling, you can directly request these services from the on-site staff and make up the difference through the on-site payment options.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 1 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
