    Ishigaki Island, popularly known as "Island of Stars" or "Star Island," is Japan's first official "Starry Sky Reserve." If the weather is clear, you may see the sky full of stars like a still photograph since it is not easily impacted by the jet stream.

  • Night Safari
    The night safari allows you to explore the jungle at night. It is also a famous tourist destination, and Ishigaki Island, which is located in the subtropical temperature zone, has a distinct ecosystem. Enjoy looking for subtropical vegetation and animals around the area.

  • Natural Planetarium
    Ishigaki Island has few artificial lights at night. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a natural planetarium!
