【Hida no Sato】

The cultural life of the Hida people, which remains in their hearts to this day, lives on through the relocated traditional houses and various folk tool collections. Why not see, touch, and experience it amidst the seasonal atmosphere?

The snow-covered gassho-zukuri houses of Hida no Sato are illuminated by bonfires and lights, creating a mystical scene as if you have wandered into another world!

【Hida Shirakawa-go】

Shirakawa-go was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings in 1976 for its beautiful gassho-zukuri village landscape. Furthermore, in 1995, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site (Cultural Heritage) together with Gokayama (Toyama Prefecture) as the Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama.

It is a place that feels like the 'hometown of Japan,' where you can deeply feel the rural culture, life, and living that represent the original scenery of Japan.
