Located on the south side of Gion Hanamikoji. Enjoy Kansai-style grilled eel prepared by our chefs in a charming space renovated from a traditional inn.
The eel is grilled over charcoal without steaming, resulting in crispy, fragrant skin and plump, tender meat. You can truly savor the natural fat and umami of the eel. Our signature dish is the Unaju, featuring a whole eel served in a bold presentation. You can fully enjoy the unique fragrance and delicious flavor of Kansai-style grilled eel. We offer seating that retains the atmosphere of a traditional townhouse, as well as private rooms. Whether for a casual meal or a special occasion, please spend a relaxing time with us amidst the atmosphere of Gion.
"Jigiri Unagi" is grilled without steaming, with a crispy exterior and plump white meat that is exquisite. We purchase eels that are in the best condition at the time of the season, regardless of the place of origin. We also use large eels (3.5p), which are 3.5 eels and weigh 1kg. In Japan, eels are usually 4p or 4.5p, so we recommend that you try our proud eels.
Our restaurant, which is housed in a traditional Gion inn, is a space filled with the atmosphere of Kyoto. There is also a bomb shelter and a courtyard, allowing you to enjoy an extraordinary atmosphere. We offer counter seats that are comfortable for solo diners, as well as table seats that are perfect for dining with friends or family. We also have fully private rooms where you can spend some private time, so families with children are also welcome. Please use us for a variety of occasions.

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.

If dining is not possible due to a natural disaster, KKday will refund the reservation fee.
