    Product Info

    -What you can expect-
Spend an unforgettable day in Tuscany aboard a comfortable minivan to discover the characteristic hilltop villages and the magnificent landscapes of Chianti.

You will meet your driver in Piazza Cavalleggeri, in the center of Florence, and you will start the journey with a short stop in Piazzale Michelangelo, to admire the panorama of Florence from above.

The first stop of the trip will be Siena, where you will meet a guide who will accompany you to discover the city center, including Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral. After the guided tour you will also have time to explore the city on your own.

Once you leave, you will reach, through some truly breathtaking landscapes, Monteriggioni, a small fortified village on top of a hill, which is still almost entirely intact. There are many peculiarities that characterize this village, including the perfectly circular shape of its perimeter, built following the natural differences in height of the ground.

The last stop of the tour, but no less important, is the medieval village of San Gimignano, famous for its 14 towers, hence the nickname "Medieval Manhattan". In 1990 the center of the village was included by UNESCO in the list of world heritage sites, so you simply can not miss the opportunity to visit it!

Explore the Palazzo Pubblico and climb the Torre del Mangia for panoramic views of the city. Stroll through the narrow medieval streets to soak in the historical atmosphere and discover hidden gems.

    2. What unique features and experiences define a visit to San Gimignano's famous towers?

San Gimignano, known as the 'Manhattan of the Middle Ages,' is famous for its well-preserved medieval towers. Visitors can climb the Torre Grossa for breathtaking views of the town and surrounding Tuscan countryside. Exploring the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, reveals charming squares, artisan shops, and the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta with its impressive frescoes. The unique skyline of its remaining towers offers a glimpse into medieval Italian urban life.

    3. What can visitors expect to see and do inside the medieval castle walls of Monteriggioni?

Monteriggioni is a perfectly preserved medieval fortified village. Inside its impressive castle walls, visitors can walk along a section of the ancient battlements for panoramic views. The central Piazza Roma offers a charming church and small shops. The village is ideal for a leisurely stroll, imagining medieval life, and enjoying local food and wine. 4. How much time is generally recommended to explore each town: Siena, San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni?

For Siena, a comprehensive visit to the main square, cathedral, and streets typically requires 2-3 hours, especially if exploring with a guide. San Gimignano, with its towers and historic center, can be enjoyed in about 1.5-2 hours. Monteriggioni, being a smaller fortified village, usually needs around 45 minutes to 1 hour to explore its walls and central piazza. These timings allow for a good overview during a day trip.

    5. What local foods and authentic products are recommended for tasting or shopping in Siena, San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni?
