Ikebukuro

It was a bit of a shame that there was a time limit, but it was tastier than I expected and really great. It was nice to be able to dine in a place filled with chiikawa!

Although photography is not allowed inside, the staff are very friendly and guide you through the changing process and helping you choose the right outfit. They don't rush you. During the changing process, you can see that wearing a kimono requires experience and skill, as the kimono is layered. After you're dressed, they will escort you to the door, take some photos for you, and then kindly see you downstairs. Overall, it's a very good experience. Finally, a word of caution about the weather: because of the many layers of kimono, it can get very hot, so the best season for taking kimono photos is autumn and winter.

The park entrance is on B1. There are small gifts upon entry, and many photo spots inside, all super cute. For photo opportunities, there are bunnies and Chii dressed up in spooky costumes. There are also many Halloween decorations. I won a ball-rolling game and the prize was an adorable cushion! 😍 Unfortunately, all Halloween merchandise was sold out, and even many regular items were out of stock. But overall, the experience was great, and I had a lot of fun.

I highly recommend buying the package ticket. Although the aquarium isn't very large, seeing penguins and sea lions is a great deal, and you can also escape the sun. The observation deck offers a beautiful night view in the evening, and Sun City in Ikebukuro is right downstairs. It's a very fulfilling day trip.
