After pickup in Waikiki, travel to the trailhead and begin your hike through a tropical rainforest setting. Follow an unpaved trail that crosses a footbridge and small stream, passes through a grove of eucalyptus trees, and gradually climbs deeper into the valley. The route includes rocky and uneven sections, and conditions can become muddy or slippery, especially after rain. Water and bug spray are provided, and walking sticks are available for extra support.
At the end of the trail, reach the scenic viewing area at the base of Manoa Falls. Take in the surrounding greenery and enjoy time to photograph the waterfall before heading back the same way.
