Begin your evening at Gunstock Ranch, a working cattle ranch on Oahu’s North Shore. After meeting your knowledgeable wrangler and gentle horse, receive a safety briefing and get comfortable in the saddle.
Set off on a guided ride through open pastures and shady groves, where the landscape glows in the warm light of late afternoon. As you follow winding trails, enjoy sweeping views of the Waianae Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
Your guide will share stories about the ranch’s history and the area’s paniolo (cowboy) traditions. Pause at a scenic lookout to watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues of orange and pink—a perfect moment for photos and reflection.
The ride concludes back at the ranch as twilight settles over the island. You’ll have a chance to thank your horse and guide, and perhaps linger to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as the stars begin to appear.
