Our first stop is a world-famous Kona coffee farm, where you’ll discover why Kona coffee is considered one of the finest coffees on earth. Learn how the coffee is planted, harvested, roasted, and prepared before enjoying complimentary tastings while taking in stunning mountain and ocean views.
Next, we’ll visit the historic Painted Church, one of the most beautiful churches in Hawaiʻi. Famous for its breathtaking hand-painted interior murals, this peaceful landmark tells the story of early missionaries while blending Hawaiian culture and Christian history into an unforgettable experience.
We’ll then continue to spectacular Kealakekua Bay, one of the island’s most scenic and historically significant locations. Enjoy panoramic views overlooking the crystal-clear waters while learning about ancient Hawaiian history, Captain James Cook, and why this protected marine sanctuary remains one of the treasures of the Pacific.
Our journey continues to Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, better known as the City of Refuge. Walk through one of Hawaiʻi’s most sacred places as your guide explains the ancient kapu system, Hawaiian royalty, traditional practices, fishponds, kiʻi carvings, temples, and the incredible history that shaped these islands centuries before Western contact.
One of our favorite stops is Green Turtle Beach, where Hawaiian green sea turtles are frequently seen resting peacefully along the shoreline. Observe these magnificent protected animals respectfully in their natural habitat while enjoying beautiful ocean views and plenty of opportunities for incredible photographs.

Because we’re local, we love showing our guests places many visitors never discover. Depending on the day, weather, and timing, your guide may include hidden scenic overlooks, lava formations, secluded coastal views, local fruit stands, or other hidden gems that showcase the true beauty of Kona beyond the typical tourist attractions.
A delicious authentic local-style lunch is included and prepared with island flavors that visitors love. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, including gluten-free requests, simply let us know in advance and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
