Experience the eventful history of the East Side Gallery – the longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall, located between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain near the Oberbaumbrücke. This tour offers fascinating insights into the division of Berlin, the reunification, and the creation of this unique open-air gallery. The tour starts on the Kreuzberg side of the River Spree. Here you will learn exciting stories and background information about this former border area. We then cross the historic Oberbaum Bridge and delve into its turbulent past. The tour ends on the grounds of the East Side Gallery after about 60 minutes.
