Learn all about the radio tower on this tour! Electricity, light, engineering, lots of green spaces, and new living concepts promoted a new lifestyle that could no longer be found in the historic city center, but was pushing its edges. The West End, still to be developed, was the new promise for freelancers (many artists), innovative entrepreneurs, and promoters of new urban architecture. Besides visiting the newly renovated broadcasting tower, we want to get to know its remarkable surroundings, where other outstanding buildings from the 1920s have been preserved. The best architects in Berlin at that time were challenged by completely new building tasks to create remarkable achievements: for example, the Broadcasting House, the Deutschlandhaus, and various residential projects.
