Graffiti experience in "Le Panier" - Marseille｜France

Welcom to La Poassonnerie

You will discover the streets and the wall paintings, graffiti's painting, lettering and figures and the Street-Art artworks of "le panier" the oldest neighborhood of Marseille. This part of phocean city is located near the "Vieux Port" and the joliette neighborhoods.
One of the best places of Marseille. Your guide will show you differents paintings on wall created by differents local, national and international street artists. With these wall you will discover and will know the differents parts of this village in the city, its history and its evolution.

This walking will begin on the Major place, with one amazing cathedral of south with the very nice view of the Mucem museum and the mediterranean sea. You will enter in the village by the "rue des repenties" and the "place du refuge", to continue toward the "rue du panier" and "la vieille charité" to understand the history of the neighbourhood and his graphic's evolution for twenty years.
During this tour you will approach the solidarity and social process of our artists collective linked with the medical associations and presented in the Street-Art gallery "la poassonnerie". You will appreciate differents canvas, sculptures and wall paintings and several schools of Street-Art.

After this visit you will be able to try the graffiti's sensitive experience with spray on canvas or wide tarpaulin, inside an evolutive picture already painted near the massilia restaurant terrasse without cars, wrapped by the charming atmosphere of "le Panier".
You will learn the sprays technics with caps, the differences between these caps and their size. You will made the structure of one lettering or figure or both and the colorization of those. At the end of the workshop session you will put the last lines of shadows and lights.

You will be able to drink or eat on the terrasse of the massilia tapas bar before the last part of the guided visit in the Street-Art universe and history in "le Panier ". This last time will drive you to the "place des moulins" and the "montée saint-esprit" to finish the graffiti's story of "le Panier" in the intercontinental hotel place in front of the "vieux Port" and "Notre Dame de la Garde" basilica. A singular view of Marseille.
