After collection at Greenock Ocean Terminal or Glasgow Hotel travel 2 hours to the town of St Andrews. On arrival visit the Old Course Clubhouse for a comfort break and souvenir shopping. Take a walk on the Old Course with your guide, hear stories of past Championships from over the years. Visit the Swilken Bridge where all the world's most famous golfers have stood and have your picture taken. Walk the 17th Road Hole and watch the golfers, absorbing the atmosphere of this special place. We will then visit St Andrews University, Scotland's oldest and most prestigious, appreciating the fine 700 year old architecture. Pass the coffee shop where Prince William met his wife Kate when both were students at the University. Next stop is St Andrews Cathedral built in 1158 and spend 30 minutes exploring this magical setting. Last stop is the The Castle perched on the cliff face overlooking a small beach called Castle Sands. This is walking tour but anyone with limited mobility the vehicle will be used. Traditional Scottish lunch is optional before we return. This tour is for 8 hours for a maximum of 8 people.
