商品說明
Step away from the city center and submerge yourself in nature with a guided day tour of Karura Forest, one of Nairobi’s largest urban forest reserves. Your tour begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Nairobi. Upon arrival at the forest gate, you’ll meet your professional guide and set off along well-maintained walking trails. As you walk under the lush tree canopy, your guide will share insights into the forest’s history, diverse plant species, and the conservation efforts led by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Professor Wangari Maathai.
Tour Itinerary:
Karura Waterfall: Trek to the 15-meter waterfall along the Karura River for photos and scenic views.
Mau Mau Caves: Explore the historic natural caves used during Kenya’s freedom struggle.
Bamboo and Canopy Walk: Walk through serene bamboo groves and open marshlands populated by waterbirds.
Wildlife Viewing: Keep an eye out for Sykes' monkeys, colobus monkeys, bushbucks, butterflies, and over 200 bird species.
Conclude your nature walk with a relaxing break at the forest café (optional) before your guide transfers you back to your hotel
