Your first stop is a neighborhood favorite led by a Michelin-recognized chef, known for fresh pita and creamy hummus, and for a line that stretches down the block. From there, head to a longtime local butcher shop for Washington's famous handmade half smoke, a true D.C. classic.
Along the way, you'll pass the former home of Julia Child and hear how she introduced generations of Americans to French cooking. The walk continues to the Georgetown waterfront, where you'll taste a farm-to-table taco made with seasonal ingredients and bold flavor, while strolling past the historic C&O Canal, the legendary Blues Alley jazz club, and the Old Stone House, the oldest unchanged building in Washington, D.C.
