2-Day Cappadocia by Air OW Hot Air Balloon｜Turkey

Explore one of Turkey's fantastical regions on this 2-day tour of Cappadocia. Walk through a land of surreal landscapes and curious rock formations at Göreme, climb Rose Valley, and visit the magnificent, remarkably preserved Kaymakli Underground City.

Day 1:

Start your tour with a transfer from your Istanbul hotel to Istanbul Airport. Board your flight to Kayseri Airport, and on arrival, enjoy a picturesque drive to Cappadocia. Freshen up at your hotel and head to Rose Valley, where you follow your guide on a trek through the greenery and red rock formations.

Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Göreme National Park and walk through its fascinating and unusual spires of rock. Hear about the history of the region and how its approximately 2,500 residents go on about their day-to-day lives.

Next, visit the small and traditional village of Çavuşin. Feel like you've gone back in time as you admire the ancient cave church of St. John the Baptist that lies within the hill.

Move on to Kaymakli Underground City and explore this impressive site that dates back to the 8th century as you meander through its maze of passages. Your last stop is at Ortahisar Castle; marvel at the surrounding stone houses, narrow streets, and beautiful churches.

Day 2:
Depending on the offer you've chosen, you can enjoy free time in the town or take to the air in a balloon flight and enjoy some panoramic views before heading to the Devrent Valley. Tour the collection of striking natural rocks that seem to take the shapes of different animals.

Continue to the town of Avanos and learn about its pottery traditions before you get some time to explore at your own pace.
