On arrival at the meeting point, your tour guide will take you around the lively food alley in Ueno, more local nightlife districts in Tokyo. Small traditional izakaya bars and food stalls grill fresh chickens. For the first bar in this night tour, you'll be crawling through these bars. Here, you can experience the backstreets of Tokyo and enjoy authentic local street food such as Yakitori, Oden, Okonomiyaki, Kushikatsu, local beer, Japanese sake from our selections on this Ueno Bar Hopping Night Tour!
All-you-can-drink, or Nomihoudai in Japanese, is a system where you enjoy unlimited drinks for a set period of time. This includes a variety of alcoholic beverages such as beer, Japanese sake, cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic options. There are many kinds of alcohol drinks in Japan, so you can try as much as possible and find your favourite drink! On this tour, the first and second bar will be Nomihoudai for 45 minutes.
End up with Ramen or standing bar like locals.
To cap off the night, head to either a cosy standing bar where you can mingle with locals and enjoy some of the finest sake and shochu. Or you can visit a Japanese ramen shop and eat local ramen for perfect ending, which Japanese drink lovers do. Both are ideal spots to conclude your evening of exploring Ueno and indulging in its culinary delights.
