-What you can expect-
Embark on a 2-hour guided stroll through Arlington National Cemetery, focusing on the site's most significant landmarks, traditions and tales. The tour includes a visit to the John F. Kennedy gravesite, where you'll observe the Eternal Flame, ignited by Jacqueline Kennedy in 1967.

Next, meander through the cemetery grounds as your guide unfolds the 150-year history of Arlington, from its origins during the Civil War to its current status as the nation's revered military burial ground. The tour wraps up at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where you'll experience the poignant Changing of the Guard ceremony.

Pay respects at the grave of WWII veteran and film star, Audie Murphy, and take in the memorials for the Columbia and Challenger tragedies.

  • Meeting point description: Go through security at Arlington Cemetery. Inside the Visitor's Center there is a statue of a soldier inside a glass case. Your guide will meet you here and will be wearing a "Signature Tours" T-shirt. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time.(Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, USA)

  • Know in advance:Please note that for guests with mobility issues or for strollers, the walking conditions at Arlington Cemetery are steep and challenging to manage in the limited tour time

  • There will be a lot of standing and walking during this tour

  • Stop by Arlington Memorial Amphitheatre is subject to availability depending on the day of visit
