After a guided tour of the Catacombs of Domitilla, visit the Capuchin Crypt and learn about the friars' simple lifestyle, closeness to the poor and spirit of fraternity.
Start your experience by taking the panoramic bus to reach the Catacombs. Embark on a fascinating underground tour of the Catacombs, taking you into the unusual history of Rome. Learn about how dating back almost 2,000 years to the 2nd century AD, this extensive network of underground tunnels was once a burial ground and a place of worship for the first Christians in Rome. After the guided tour at the Catacombs, your panoramic bus will drop you near the Big Bus hop-on hop-off bus stop. From there, take the bus to reach the Capuchin Crypt in Via Veneto. Visit on your own with the audio guide. The Crypt is inside a museum attached to the Baroque church of Santa Maria della Concezione, close to Piazza Barberini. Learn about the simple lifestyle, closeness to the poor and spirit of fraternity that characterise the religious order, whose history is recounted from its origins in the 16th century to the present day.

Know in advance:Catacombs are holy places, so visitors should dress appropriately. Please cover your shoulders and knees. It's also best to have a light jacket, as it can get cold underground
Visitors with specific disabilities may be entitled to a free ticket after speaking directly to the ticket office of Catacombs
Your ticket includes the entrance to two venues: Catacombs and Capuchin Crypt. The transfer from Catacombs to Capuchin Crypt is included in your reservation and the last part of your experience is the visit of the Capuchin Crypt with audioguide at your own pace
