Get access to the monument at your assigned entry time slot, available every 15 minutes from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The castle's interior features grand halls, medieval and Renaissance frescoes, and panoramic views of Rome from its upper terraces. See the Papal apartments, lavishly decorated with period art, and the Passetto di Borgo, a concealed corridor that once connected the Vatican to the castle, serving as a papal escape route.
