Join this 2-hour private walking tour of Reykjavik specially designed for cat lovers! Follow your guide in the paw prints of cats since the settlement of Iceland. You'll explore the myths about cats in Iceland and hear tales from cats' history throughout the world.

You'll stop in the one and only Reykjavik Cat Coffee House to pet some cats while you sip on coffee or hot cocoa and taste Icelandic pastry. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the most famous cats of downtown Reykjavik, Baktus, Jonsi, and Ofelia, to name a few.

  • Meeting point description: Meet your guide outside the Hlöllabátar sandwich shop at Ingólfstorgi 1 in Reykjavík. Facing the square (Ingólfstorg) and the two tall stone pillars, you'll see the Center Hotel Plaza on your right. The meeting place features benches, tables, and a covered area. The guides usually wear a light blue jacket with 'Your Friend in Reykjavik' written on the back.(Hlöllabátar, Ingólfstorgi, Reykjavík, Iceland)
