-What you can expect- Discover the towns of Guadalest and Altea, and the waterfalls of Fuentes del Algar on a day trip from Alicante.
Depart from Alicante and, after a brief stop in Benidorm, travel first to the coastal town of Altea. Explore this gem of the Costa Blanca with your guide and wander through the cobbled streets of its old town and its white houses featuring lovingly decorated balconies. Once the walking tour is over, enjoy free time to continue exploring, making your way to panoramic viewpoints. Take a walk on the beach or try the local cuisine with views of the Mediterranean.
Then, travel a short distance to Guadalest, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Spain. Enjoy a guided walking tour as you learn about the history of the town. See the Castillo de San José and admire the imposing fortress surrounded by mountains with panoramic views. Stroll through the town, where you have the opportunity to visit the Microminiatures Museum, the Microgigante Museum, the Salt and Pepper Shakers Museum, or the Ethnological Museum.
The last leg of this excursion takes you to Fuentes del Algar (Algar Springs), a natural area which was declared a Protected Wet Zone, offering spectacular waterfalls that provide great biodiversity to the environment. Here, you'll have two hours of free time to take a swim and enjoy this place. This tour allows you to get to know three beautiful places in the province of Alicante in a single day.
