Note: This tour was refreshed and improved on April 10 to offer an even better experience. Reviews before this date reflect the previous version.
This three-hour walking food tour takes you through Le Marais, one of Paris's most beloved neighborhoods for food. With an expert English-speaking guide leading the way, you'll taste 11 dishes and drinks across six carefully chosen stops. From century-old brasseries to sidewalk crêperies, every bite tells a story.
Your first taste is a crusty baguette from a traditional boulangerie, sliced and shared straight from the oven. Then settle into a neighborhood restaurant for tender escargots paired with a glass of French wine, a rich and buttery pairing that captures one of Paris's oldest food traditions.
At a family-run fromagerie, sample artisan cheeses alongside crisp Norman cider while learning how region and technique shape every wheel. Then walk deeper into Le Marais's Jewish quarter for a warm, crispy falafel from a beloved Mediterranean counter, one of the neighborhood's most famous bites.
The tour's centerpiece is a seated tasting inside a steakhouse. Here, you'll savor beef bourguignon sourced from family farms, a rich French onion soup topped with melted Gruyère, and another glass of wine. Your final stop is a sidewalk crêperie where a thin, golden crêpe is made fresh on the griddle, folded, and finished with butter and a dusting of sugar.
Whether you are visiting Paris for the first time or returning to explore a new side of the city, this small group tour is the most satisfying way to eat through Le Marais.
