Your guide will share local culture, from the rich legal history of the Palais de Justice to the bustling Marché aux Fleurs (flower market). See the stunning Sainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame Cathedral as your guide points out the interesting details to notice in their Gothic facades.

After your tour, upgrade to enjoy a self-guided visit to the Archeological Crypt below Notre Dame, where you’ll discover the foundations of the original Paris. This tour doesn’t include Notre-Dame entry, but it’s free to visit, and you’re welcome to enter on your own after the tour, and your guide can share tips on what to look for inside.

  • Know Before You Go: On rare occasions, the Crypt can be closed for construction or maintenance. In this case, you will receive the outdoor guided walking tour only.

  • Know Before You Go: This tour doesn’t include entrance to Notre Dame Cathedral. If you would like to visit, you can make a free reservation on the Notre Dame website, or line up to enter on the day of your tour. Your guide will share tips for what to see when you go inside.

  • Know Before You Go: The walking tour is accessible for wheelchairs. However, the Crypt is not suitable for wheelchairs.

  • Know Before You Go: The tour will take place rain or shine.
